REV. SHARON D. JONES is the devoted wife of Dr. Aaron R. Jones. They have been united as one for 13 years. She enjoys building the Kingdom of God with her husband. Her motto is "Enjoying Life in Christ".
Sharon is a native Washingtonian. She was reared in the heart of Southeast D.C. She received her early education in the D.C. Public School system. In 1993, she earned a B.S. degree in Telecommunication with a concentration in Mass Media from Morgan State University. In 1999, she earned a M.A. degree in Administrative Management with a concentration in Human Resource Development from Bowie State University.
Sharon has over fifteen years of experience in human resource management and development; secondary and undergraduate education; and marketing and sales.Like the Apostle Paul, she counts all those things as dung when she compares it to her life in Christ Jesus.
Sharon answered the call to ministry in 2000, and became an Ordained Minister in 2002. Understanding the need to study to show herself approved, she earned a Bachelor in Ministry and a Master in Theological Studies from the National Bible College and Seminary in Fort Washington, MD. She is an adjunct professor at the National Bible College and Seminary. She preaches and facilitates worship services at the D.C. Correctional Facility for Women with the "Never Say Never" Prison Ministry; and conducts Bible study with young adult women.
